it's 17th jan 2008 already... i still feel like in dec 2007. i guess thats one of the side-effect of non-stop travelling since 27th dec.. i feel like living in a fantasy now... where am i? why am i here... but i can't keep on like that... since there's only one month left... arrrgh! no more waste of time in living in this fantasy! been doing too many things recently. gotta report them in point forms lol 1. Worlds Debate Tournament (27th dec to 5th jan) - met lots of talented debators from all over the world - tried my best in most of the matches, except the second one which was about taiwan's independence... - had lots of parties (free beers sponsored!), the best one was the count-down party in an amusement park!! - did what most tourists do in thailand, took lotsa nice pics... - made lots of new frds.. 2. Taiwan Trip with 3 mad ppl ( 7th Jan to 10th Jan) - ate like hell--> food there are just too yummy - laughed almost every second (esp when mui姐 said, "我個嘴上面仲有無青苔？"--when she actually wanna say "海苔"!! and this happened twice within 5 mins... =.=''' threre're way too many insane phrases... finally we decided to publish a series of books tribute to her--> "慕梅語錄" - went to jay chow's sec sch and restaurant - went on to a ferris wheel and me and mui were brave enough to get on to the cable which is totally transparent!!!!!! including the seat itself!! so it's like sitting on glass... at 15-floor's height!! kinda scared at the beginning but then we found it like nth cuz there's nth special to see for tw's night view... - shopping time, of cuz - and lots more. 3. China 2-day trip with Leo Club 12th to 13th jan - went to teach in two schs - had great huge fun, on coach and at the hotel - heard some spooky stories on the coach when heading back to hk - took two massively long coach trips (more than 4 hours when going and coming back) - the craziest is the last thing we did-- hotpot dinner at Little Sheep in shenzhen: discovered how evil human beings (well, not to be sexually discriminating. but it's actually just guys lol) can be when we're facing scarce delicious food supply and hunger... according to bea...she's really full-- but not becuz of the food, but becuz of the laughters she had and then it's the end of my official sem break. still have MUN awaiting! i have to hypnotise myself from now on, i'm a chinese government official.... it's all about china's internal affairs... it's... all about..... wearing outrageously big glasses on the nose... lol.. and thanks for sonia's reminder for that internal affairs HAHA!! |
